Backup Hangs Preparing Shadow Copy

Hello,

After installing SP2, I find that my Windows Backup program hangs at the
"Preparing to Backup Using Shadow Copy" screen. This is while backing up on
a local machine to that
machine's DVD drive. No Network issues involved. Not using shadow copy
seems to still work ok.

Would appreciate any suggestions.

Me to.
I uninstalled SP2 and it worked. Reinstall SP2 and it fails.
A friend has the same problem.
