Backup email

After a crash of my XP machine I'm in search of information on backing up the
email accounts on my new machine. Is there a way to backup Windows Mail for
several users?

If you simply want to backup the messages:
In Windows Mail, File, Export, Messages.

If you want to backup everything (account settings, rules, etc.) use a
third party program such as :
http://www.staticbackup.com/windows-mail-backup

You would have to have access to each user's message store which is stored
under their user profile by default. See www.oehelp.com/backup.aspx and the
section on WinMail.

The information stored in the user profile's registry also needs to be
backed up and you would likely have to do that while logged on as that user.
