windows live email

I hope someone will take the time to read this all the way through. I have
been trying to get oe emails etc imported to my live mail acct. I cannot
remember all the things I read in this discussion group and followed.
Everything from using the OE quick backup program. I started by setting up
changing to windows live email as recommended in several posts. ( I have read
several hundred posts) then set upmicrosoft outlook to import from OE, then
tried to import to different identities in outlook. I have 6 email accounts
to set up. Win live did accept the main email account, and about half or
less of the others. I did set each up as a seperate acct in win live. Only
a few of the subfolders in outlook went over to win live. I have all of the
dbx folders from the quick backup program in one folder. I have copied it to
a usb drive and tried to do recovery on the new computer in several ways.
One in outlook express, one in outlook after twice failing in the quick
backup program. (The quick backup incidentely has no instructions, so for
many people it is a task. )
All of this is to no avail. I am sure that there is a solution to all of
this that is much easier than I have been able to follow. I am hoping that
you can offer me a solution that I can follow and complete......Im getting
very frustrated....been trying to get this done for about 10 days.

You posted to the newsgroup that is dedicated to support for the
Windows Mail program. Since you have apparently switched to the
Windows Live Mail program, it is better to post WLM issues in its
own newsgroup. I am cross-posting this reply to the WLM newsgroup,
so you can read responses there:
