Background repeating in Word?

I'm making a themed project for a composition class and want to use a
background I have had for the background of the cover page. However, when I
go to "fill effects" and then the picture tab and choose print, the result is
that the picture is thumbnailed and tiled instead of filling the page like
what is shown on the screen. How can I fix this? I am using MS Word 07, btw.

Hi =?Utf-8?B?QmxhY2taZXIw?=,
I'm making a themed project for a composition class and want to use a
background I have had for the background of the cover page. However, when I

If I go to the Page Layout tab, select the Page Tool button and then the "Fill
effects" command, then I can go to the "Picture" tab in the dialog box. There I
click "Select picture" and I chose a bitmap file from my drive. That graphic is
then "zoomed" to fill the entire page of my document...

Hmmm. What zoom are you using? I notice the tiling appears to change with the
zoom. But if I show the full page ("One page" in the View tab of the Ribbon),
there is no tiling.
