background color

I am completely new to PowerPoint and am trying to use an organizational
chart to complete a 'nuclear' family tree.
I got the tree made, but when I print it, the background color in the
'boxes' is blue! I would like this document to be just plain ole black
print on white paper.
Please tell me where to make these changes. I tried printing in
greyscale/black only, but then I get gray boxes.
Also, the default box has rounded corners. Out of curiosity, where would
I make the changes if I wanted them to be white.
Any kind of tutorial regarding formatting these charts to make these
types of changes would be great if you could point me in the right
direction.
Thank you for the info

Joanne,
Don't know what version of PowerPoint you are using. But if it is PPT 2003,
on the organizational chart toolbar, next to the zoom button you have an
AutoFormat button. If you click it you can choose other styles, one of them
gives you a white background, I think it is the last.
Or select all your boxes, right click, choose Format AutoShape, Next to
color choose the arrow, you will see a row of eight colors, click on the
first color swatch (follow background) which should be white, click OK. If
the background is not white, choose Other colors instead and apply white.
