Back up

I want to back up my computer onto DVD - however when i go to accessories -
system tools there is no back up option? What am I doing wrong? I'm set up as
an administrator. Any help greatly appreciated

How do I back up my files without a tape or another hard disk?
Can I do this with a DVD-RW?

The backup program in Windows XP cannot backup files
directly to a CD or DVD drive. You need to create a new
folder on your desktop, name it "backup", then browse to
that folder and perform a backup to that folder. Then record
the backup file to your DVD drive using your DVD recording
software.
