backing up the c drive

help please
i want to back up my c drive to an external hard drive.
mmy normal procedure would be by accessories, system
tools, but then there is no option to back up the entire
disc drive .

any thoughts please

The XP Backup is not installed by default. Look for it on the CD and install
it.
