back up wrong

hi every one is there any one who can advise me on this?
i cnt seem to find original backup that was done on my pc the day i brought
it? and installed the windows.... it hasnt stored in the restore points at
all they seem to be only going back bout 3 weeks ago no further? i need to
back up to original settings to find things that were on there then
hope someone can help me here xxx

Backup and restore are two different things.

You must perform a backup yourself; and it's usually done to removable
media.

Restore points are done automatically and, as you noticed, may only go back
in time a few weeks/days.

If you did not perform a system backup then you're out-of-luck and you
cannot go back beyond the retore points already created.

i did do a back up jerry but the disc wont run so is there any other way to
maybe perform this?
