How can I view the files in a backup disk? The program tech tells me the
disk is corrupted, but I have reasons to doubt this. I just ran the disk
through the trial version of Badcopy (a disk recovery suggested by Microsoft
Support Group) and it tells me the disk is fine now. I've tried to Open
with Word Pad but no text....Any ideas? I'd really like to use the disk and
do a restore. Thanks

Use whatever program created it.

Well if it's an image file you need to use the program that created it of
course!!!!

What type of disk is it? A CD or DVD, a hard drive, a floppy? WordPad will
only open text files what is the file extension of the file you are trying
to open?
