Back up button

Lately when I am on a page in IE and hit the back up button, it takes
like 7 or 8 tries for it to finally go back... this started about a
month ago.. any suggestions? ty

That has been happening to me too! I have a 5 month old computer running
WINXP Home SP2
I would also like to know the answer.
Hopefully someone can help.

You can try to repair IE. You do that using add remove programs in
control panel. But most times it is easier to remove and then re-install.
