AviPreview is a wonderful app for previewing .avi or mpg files while
they are downloading. Or any incomplete .avi that you have from the
beginning.
The site and the app are now for sale so time is presumably running out
for grabbing this app as freeware.
50kb download, standalone exe, no install. A nice little avi/mpg player
in its own right, quite apart from its previewing capability where it is
streets ahead of VirtualDub.
