I would say that the shell32 is a part of Microsoft. I will remove the Brico
Pack and then reinstall the AVG, and see is this fix's the problem. I will
post the results here some time today.

this was in another post, seems after that major microsoft update it
effected many programs and made changes on the OS that AVG and others are
picking up.
Changes do not mean viruses. Are you seei t it as an error msg or just as a
change in the virus list.
If AVG thinks it is a virus it will put it into the Virus Vault.
Look in the vault and see if it is there
If you do not see it in the vault then it is just a "change" which this
microsrosoft security did

this came from the AVG Free Forum

It is normal that AVG shows that files, the MBR or Boot record to have
changed. These are done during normal maintainance, when you or windows
updates files or have had to correct errors on the drive. The only time that
you should worry is if they also show as infected.

To get AVG to quit showing them as changed, open the AVG Test Center, click
the F3 key on your keyboard and tell it to accept the changes. If it still
shows something as changed after this.. delete the file named AVG7QT.DAT in
C:\ and AVG will rebuild it the next time it is run.

This should fix everyone's problem

You can do the fix or just ignore it- I just ignore it because it is
acutally not a virus
