Avg does not work with vista.Tried to un-install,can't.Thanks in advance.It
seems m.s. does not allow any anti-virus to work with it,yet comes without
protection that I can see.

AVG Free 7.5.nnn works fine on my Vista Home Premium as does their
Anti-spyware.
 
might check the avg site for an uninstall program.

peculiar you would have problems as avg is one of the recommended virus progs for vista,.

insure you have the latest vista compatible version.

Kelsey; I looked at almost all AVG,but do not see a freebie.Maybe it is way
down the list.There are many that claim to be free,but if they want a credit
it isn't free. I had avg installed ver.7.5,but vista could not or would not
initialize.Thanks for your time. Pony
 
I should mention,I only have vista basic.We fixed income people have to save
somewhere.lol Pony
