I have AVG start with the computer but the e-mail scanner won't start
automatically. I've looked for the place to change this but can't find
it. How can I enable this?

Thanks for any help.

Double click icon in taskbar and select email scanner box, then select
properties and check that in the select box you have AVG Email
extension. You might have to update

If you use msn, message me. Same as my email address

I wouldn't bother with the e-mail scanner, if I were you. It uses a
lot of resources but does not really add extra protection.

if receiving pested mail it is an advantage to know to have kind of this
in the machine , for it is not clear that antivirus is running always -
for example at command without complete windows started etc. .

Never open mail from the command line. Never run an attachment from
the mail client, always save it to disk first. Use Thunderbird,
Mozilla or any mail client that does not permit you to run an
attachment without first saving it.
