AVG 6 or 7 -0 which is beter

Is the AVG version 7, better in any way than the free version 6? I have
been happy with 6 but wonder if I would get better protection with 7. I
don't need the tech support.

Yes - there have a few cases where somehow a virus got into the computer
and was not caught until i ran a scan of the drive or until some antispyware
software scanned and found a "trouble spot". But generally have liked it
and stuck with it. But I wonder if I have just been lucky
