AVG 7 update error

Is anyone else getting an "Internal Server Error 500" when you try to
update AVG 7?

I put in the free AVG 6 to test it and it works fine.....but my AVG 7
Pro still doesn't (I re-installed it).

Any idea whats going on? It's worked fine up until a week ago. Plus
it still works on my laptop.

Thanks

It may be that the AVG7 website is very busy in view of the new Sasser
outbreak, and everyone trying to update at the same times. You might try
doing a manual update for a bit. It's very easy and much faster to get your
protection at this time. I do that when I can't get a normal update. It
only takes a few minutes, and it's worth it to keep updated.

Go here

http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_updt7.php

and download the file for the updates to your Grisoft folder on the hard
drive. Then open the files with the Zip and extract the files to your Update
folder in the Grisoft AVG7 folder.

Then open the AVG Control Center, click on the Virus Database bar and then
click the Update tab, then click the Update Now bar.

That should get you updated. I'd do that for a few days. :)

I have already updated manually, and I've been trying to do manual
updates for many days now. It always works when I manual update on my
laptop. So I don't think its an issue with the server being busy.
