I'm using AVG 6 (free edition), and would like to set up a mail rule
in Outlook Express so that messages that AVG found to be infected with
a virus would be moved to a special "infected" folder.

I've tried setting up a rule that checks for "virus vault" in the
message body, but this doesn't work, and I don't know why! Can anyone
help? Thanks.

Phil-
The automatic filter logic is executed before control is passed to the
AVG add-in in Outlook Express, I believe. You're trying to filter on a
character string that hasn't been placed into the "Inbox" yet.
However, if you go back & manually run the filter after all mail has
been received into the "Inbox," you may then be able to cognize the string.

Alas, the string still isn't recognised even after all mail is in the
Inbox. I'm not actually using the AVG add-in for Outlook Express, but
the AVG universal e-mail scanner which works with all POP3 e-mail
programs. The add-in says it's for OE5, whereas I'm using OE6.
