Right now I'm using version 6.0 (free) of AVG anti-virus.
But there is a free version of 7.0 ?

Should I switch to free version 7.0?

Anyone could tell me the differences between those two free versions?

I've had some issues with 7.0 in Windows 98. Haven't tried 6.0 tho'. 7.0
works well with XP.

There's no free version of 7 out yet - supposedly there MAY be one in
2004. The 6 version supposedly will see end of life this month or so.

They now have a Linux version of 7 as well, and a Linux server
version.

Hi Richard,

I got the information here: http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_dwnl7.php

The last listed is the free version 6.0 but there is that "free"
edition without a number just before.

Any idea what this is?

The free version listed on this web page is the version 6 free edition.

The last listed is the version 6 "products", i.e. all of the version 6
products such as the server editions. The one above it is the version
6 personal edition freeware.
