Avast download scanning

Hi

How\where do i find the Avast file to enter into a download manager
(fresh download) so that when the download is finished, Avast will
scan it.
I am able to do this with AVG

Installed ashQuick.exe as my scanner in fresh download
How do i know if Avast has scanned the download?
AVG will pop up telling me the file has been scanned successfully
But I got no message box from Avast

Normally there is a status window visible during scanning.

To confirm you should have a scanning Status window, I have just tested it
in FreshDownload and it worked OK.
Have you get the Virus checking option Ticked ? (you must have to enter the
path for ashQuick.exe) and the only file type not ticked? scan everything
you download.

Got it working now

Was using the wrong ashQuick.exe
I thought it was in my C directory
But it was in my G directory ?"$*
