AV out has no colour

Hi.. I am only able to get b&w video out of my yellow
video port. Currently its plugged into a scart socket and
then a TV but monochrome only.

More detail... I'm running Win2000, on a CompaqEvoN600c
laptop.

You need to send the video out via an s-video socket, not a 'yellow'
composite socket. You're running into an NTSC vs. PAL problem....
