Autotext not displaying the screen tip

Having a problem when using autotext. The normal.dot file was working up
until today. Now the screen tip i.e (press ENTER to insert) does not appear
as it used to. No idea how to get this prompt back??

"Show Autocomplete suggestions" is checked within Tools->Autocorrect
Options>Autotext

"ScreenTips" is checked within Tools ->Options->View tab

Tried renaming the normal.dot & reinstalling office which is fully patched

Any help would be much appreciated....
 
Yeah. It's Word 2003. Real strange one. Does anyone know if there's a
registry entry needing changed or something?

set correctly.

Hi Chris,

It could be a corrupted Word data key in the registry. Do you get the same problem if you start Word in safe mode (hold ctrl+key
when starting Word) or in Out of the box mode
Start=>Run
Winword.exe /a
