Automatically entering notes while creating slide text

Is there a way other than cutting and pasting that I can automatically have
PPT to insert the same text in the notes section that I am entering in the
slide portion?

PPT to insert the same text in the notes section that I am entering in the
slide portion?

A VBA macro could pick up the text from the slide placeholders and add it as
notes text. It could do the whole presentation at once. Would that do it for
you.
