i tried to replace it but right when it's supposed to move the file
get an error from Winzip saying:

"Error: The system cannot find the file specified.
Cannot create C:\Documents and Settings\tigerdirect\Loca
Settings\Temp\IMAGEHLP.DLL"

I tried deleting the old imagehlp.dll and i get an error saying "canno
delete imagehlp: cannot find the specified file". The .dll shows up an
exists since it has a file size but according to the system it doesn'
so i can't manipulate it. The same thing happened when i tried to us
the DLL from the windows XP CD to replace the one on my HD

I have 3 on mine located in -
1. C:\Windows\$ServicePackUninstall$\ (122KB)
2. C:\Windows\ServicePackFiles\i386\ (144KB)
3. C:\Windows\System32\ (144KB)

1. would have been removed from 'System32' & backed up to the Uninstall
folder when I installed SP2
2 & 3 are dated 4/08/04 & would be the new SP2 ones, replacing the old 122KB
dll.

Yours should have both 2 & 3, but both 122KB, probably dated 29/8/2002.
See if you have both those, or can copy the one from i386 to your System32
folder, or if not, try renaming (in Safemode) the one in System32 to
imagehlp.old, then paste the other there.
