loading a new program

Every time I try to load a progam though Install sheild I get an error that
says Component tranfer error, Component: Progam files, File group: TEMP,
File:c/temp\, Error: the system cannot find the path specified. How do I fix
this. Thank you
 
Some basic suggestions:
First, run Disk Cleanup to get rid of prior junk and to free up space.

Next, take each program one at a time. What's the program name / version / publisher. Have you checked with their support? Read their Readme file & install/setup documents?
Is it a Windows program? or a DOS program?
