Hello.

What is the proper way of setting up Windows Server 2003 so that a
dial-up connection is automatically established when the system is
started? Another requirement is that the connection should remain active
throughout login sessions.

I have seen a suggestion which consists of adding a shortcut to the
dial-up connection to the "Startup" program group of "All Users", but I
wonder whether there is another way to solve the problem.

Thank you,

V

If Rasdial is available on that OS you could use that in a script. It
can both check connections and connect automatically. Do a search for
rasdial in your helpfiles.
