Login Scripts using Dial-Up Networking

I have installed a Windows 2003 RAS Server and I am
attempting to use Dial-Up Networking to establish a
connection for secure file uploads from our affiliates. I
would like to have the user authenticate to the network
and the login script automatically upload the files to
us. The problem is that I can't get the login script to
run while using Dial UP Networking. I dial into the ras,
authenticate to AD, and get access to the resources, but
the logon script never runs. I have defined the logon
script through the user profile, and Group Policy, but
neither seems to work.

If anyone knows if I am not doing something correctly or
if this is not even possible, your post will be much
appreciated. If you do have a viable solution that I may
try, I am grateful for your input. Thanks!

Making a RAS connection just sets up a point-to-point connection to give
you network access. It is not a login operation, so login scripts will not
run.

If you use the "login using a dialup connection" option at login, your
script will run. If you have already done a local login before you make the
RAS connection, you will need to use some other event to trigger your
script.
