Autocomplete won't work

I cant' seem to get the Autocomplete feature to work. I
have gone into the Tools/Content and checked all the
boxes, but it doesn't work. Does anybody know how to fix
this? Thanks.

Is your computer a HP ?? If so my friend has the same
problem and it has something to do with HP and how they
preinstall there windows software .. My friend just gave
up on it and couldn't get it to work ... Because of it he
no longer use's internet explorer ... ( netscape ,
mozilla firefox ) Sorry i couldn't help though

sorry I can't help with this but I'm having exact same problem. pain in the ass having to fill in every 'new box' from scratch, doesn't 'remember' previous list/database entries etc
If you ever find answer can you pass on to me and I'll do likewis
