Autocomplete feature sends emails twice

I have a user that when autocomplete completes a contact in the To
field, it displays the first and last name of the person that they are
sending the email to. When the user clicks send, it completes the
first name and last name as two seperate entries and ends up sending
the same email twice. Of course the user receiving the email does not
receive it twice but their email address is displayed twice.

Any ideas what may be causing this issue? She is using Windows XP and
Office 97 (I know its old but thats what she wants)

Thanks

Since Outlook 97 has no autocomplete feature, you'll need to post a more
accurate account of the problem. Feature did not even appear until Outlook
2002.

You're using Auto-resolution, not autocomplete. Look for the option to use
comma as an address separator. I'm not sure where it is in 97, but in 2007
it is at tools, options, email options, advanced- its near the bottom.
