Auto Updates

I receive every auto-update twice. I install the first one
and in no time receive notification of another
update.........only it's not a different one it's the same
one again. Are there multiple ways to set the auto-update
feature up????
 
My favorite part is that FAQ says to check here. Looks
like they are hoping someone else can solve the problem.
