Auto name recognition/suggest names

I am using Outlook 2002, SP3.. previously it would suggest names and email
addresses when I would start entering a name or address.. But it has stopped
suggesting after restarting Outlook.. Both auto-name-checking and suggest
names are turned on. Any suggestions?

This is indicative of a damaged mail profile that is losing its connection
tot eh autocompletion cache. Start with a new mail profile, redefine your
accounts, point the profile at our existing PST, then rename the NK2 file in
%AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook to match the name of the new profile. This
should recover your autocompletion cache and allow it to be remembered
