authomatic icons

Dear Sirs,
my problems concern the fact that everytime I start the computer an icon of
a videochat-something site appears on my desktop and the opening internet
page is that icon referred page in authomatic opening. The application file
has the following destination :\WINDOWS\system32\ShellExt\syp.EXE -id 3.
I can remove from the desktop the icon, but I can't find and remove the file
from the system.
For sure it arrived from internet, but when and from where?
I used a ad- aware system to remove it and a MacAfee virus system but they
cannot avoid when I close the system that the problem at the new start
appears once again. What can I do?

Try adaware in Safe Mode.

To Mark:
Thank you for the help. I performed Ad-aware spy system in deeep scanning
and two critical objects have been detected. I closed the system and reopen
it, but it happens once again: an icon , and yhe authomatic opening of a
connector page when starting internet connection.
