I can capture my video, but no matter what I try there is no sound. Can someone please tell me what I need to do to get the sound to transfer. Dell support has not been able to figure it out.

Umm, you are of course connecting the camera audio out to
your soundcard input, right?
Composite and S-video connectors do not pass any audio.
The audio is a separate output.
