Audio video synchronizing.

I captured a 1/2 hour vhs to mpg format. I imported it to MM to do some basic
clipping and trimming. Saved it to file in the highest quality format
avaiable. Ended up with a .wmv about 1/4 the size of the original mpg.
Problem: audio and video are out of synch...badly. (Double checked the
original mpg and no synch problem there.) Anyone have any ideas?

First convert the mpg to WMV using Windows Media Encoder and then edit that
WMV in MM.
