Audio Compression on Video Edit

Trying to edit a .MPG video file that has audio on it. Sounds fine when I
play each clip but when I move to timeline and save to .WMV file the audio
portion is compressed and runs at 2X+ speed. Video portion is fine. What am
I doing wrong?

Hello,

Just about any file format that starts with an "M" is a candidate for
screwing up Movie maker.

You can capture your audio by playing the clip in Media Player and using
your favourite audio program to record it...if using Creative then select
"What you Hear" otherwise select audio mixer or stereo mixer. The resulting
audio file can then be imported to Movie Maker.

BUT, if you go to www.videohelp.com/convert you should be able to pick a
free converter that suits your needs...convert the file to AVI and start
the project again.
