Audio device problem

I'm running Windows XP Professional on a Dell Optiplex GX1. I can't seem to
get sound for audio playback using the hardware test.

My audio devices and drivers appear to be working (Crystal WDM Audio Codec;
Crystal WDM Audio Control Registers; Crystal WDM MPU-401 Compatibility)
except for a disabled device which has no drivers installed. I can't enable
the device. This is its technical information:

Disabled device
Manufacturer: Crystal Semiconductor
Location: on Intel 82371AB/EB PCI to ISA Bridge (ISA)
Device Status: this device is working properly

However I can't seem to enable it as I get a message that there are no
drivers installed for this device. When I check the driver information it
reads:

Driver provider: Microsoft
Driver Date: 7/1/2001
Driver version: 5.1.2535.0
Digital signer: Microsoft Windows Publisher

Thanks for any help you can provide. I'm at a loss here!
