I have no sound or speaker icon or speaker settings. My system says I have no
driver(yellow !), system cannot start. I have tried everything to start it
back up and no results (help and support). I have an intel cpu, microsoft
windows XP, manufacturer for audio device is silicon integrated systems
corp., (Sis 7018 audio driver). I'm a beginner to the cpu world and need help
A.S.A.P., I have been trying to remedy this problem for over a month now.

I've had the identical problem and am still looking for the solution (so
sorry can't help) but downloading drivers did NOT helps and neither did
following MS advice to disable DOS USB function in BIOS - still waiting for
any other suggestions??
