Another interesting thing I just found(it seems I keep finding more
things) I just tried to logon into Excite which I use as an auxilary
email and it gave me the following message:

The browser you are using is not allowing you to sign in to Excite.

Right now, your browser's settings are configured to disable cookies
and/or javascript. In order to access your account, you must change
your browser's settings to accept both cookies AND javascript

Now I don't use Excite all that much and I can get along very well
without it and can use Yahoo instead since I have an account there.
I'm just wondering if this is something I need to be concerned with?

I have my security level set a medium and my Hotmail is set to
exclusive so the only email I get is from those I know. I have my
block-up blocker enabled as well as my phishing filter. Comodo, AVG,
SpyBot and A-Squared seem to be doing an excelent job protecting my
computer. Are there any recommended changes or suggestions?

You're fine, Robert. Although I allow Javascript and cookies only for
that session, you might not be comfortable with that.

If you don't need Excite, just dump it. Some banking sites and others
might require cookies.

Google it up and you'll find your answers.

Hi Wally,
Could you give me your insights to my above question regarding why my
LG drive isn't digitally signed and CCleaner questions? (sometimes I
put questions behind my previous questions when something comes up
that's a concern or in this case, I answered each of your and JS's
questions in turn). Sorry for the confusion.

Hi, Robert.Tooltips hiding or partially hiding behind the taskbar is a common problem. One sure fix for this is to download and install a free program called ToolTip Fixer. Here's the link:

I just checked in the Driver Details and it shows it's not digitally
signed. So why is mine not digitially signed ? Should I try to update
the driver?

and whether or not I should include them? As JS said " CCleaner which
has far more capability but it's has some risks so if you decide to
use it, know what you are selecting to delete before you do it. If you
have questions ask! Well, that's what I'm wondering about. I don't
want to play Russian Roulette with this.

I ran CCleaner, and basically checked the items that I check with Disk
Cleaner and then clicked analyze but it seemed to take a long time (to
me) then I ran the cleaner and all seemed well. I don't know if it did
a better job of cleaning than Disk Cleaner but since you guys
recommended it I'll use it.

I guess now I need to buy some Verbatim disks and try making a CD
using Nero and see if the LG drive is indeed working. I'm still
puzzled however why my drive isn't digitally signed and whether that
will affect its performance?

In the meantime, I guess I will play around with all these new
programs and get use to them and if I have questions I'll post them.
