At this point what I can say is that the after re-boot things appear
normal. Boot took longer than usual, but I have to assume that is the
result of the changes being made based upon what CCleaner did.
In some small ways I can see some speed improvemnt; display of the
Start menu was laborious before. Now it just pops right up. But
display of large folder/directory content still seems to take more
than necessary time.
As luck would have it though, I really have NOTHING to do right now.
No chores to put the system to a real test. Very unusual.
