I have DSL connection configured on XP machine. I want that It should
automatically connect when my system starts.
looking for help....!!!

I have succesfully used ADSL autoconnect,
that creates a service ....

thanks smith but i dont wanna use third party s/w, is it possible to have it
from win xp only....

I offered that solution because it is stable and reconnects you if the line
is dropped.
This runs as a service and is not visible. However of course it does take up
some ram.

You can try adding a shortcut to your connection in the STARTUP folder of
your
start menu. After you do that go to the connection and right click >
Properties>Options
and deselect: the "propt for name and password, certificate"

However on some systems this solution does not work because there is a delay
for
the network services to launch.. (the reason why I told you about the app)
you can try it though.
