ATI TV Tuner PCI & 9700 Prog

Right now my system is running Radeon 9700 PRO with the latest driver
(3.7) and media center (8.6). My system is working properly and I
now want to install an retail ATI TV (PCI) card that I have.

I have tried installing this card several times now and I can get it
working but not when it comes to recording video. If anyone has this
ATI TV card fully working with a Radeon 9700 PRO I would appreciate
hearing how they did it.

Thanks.

I don't know how you got the 8.6 multimedia drivers, but they are not
compatable with the TV Wonder PCI.

Take the TV Wonder out of your computer. Get the Radeon working properly
with the correct drivers without Multimedia, then shut down, install TV
card, then install the drivers from the ATI site for the TV Wonder PCI under
Multimedia Center (7.9 the last I looked). All should work OK in XP.

I am using drivers 3.7 with a Radeon 9700np and TV Wonder PCI 7.9
multimedia drivers and no problems.

Right now the ATI TV card is not installed.

I have down that before, uninstalled the 8.6 mmc and installed the TV
card, driver and 7.9 mmc. The TV Tuner works but does not record and
the ATI DVD Player is nowhere. If I install MMC 8.6 at this point I
get back the DVD Player and the TV card still crashes when asked to
record.

Glad that it works for you.
