I very much commend such a list coming out, but I think I will stick with
the 3.10's and wait for the 4.2's to get released and hopefully have some of
the issues ironed out. Based on my own personal experience, I have no
reason not to have faith in ATI but I'm doing fine with the 3.10's for now.
I did, however, get a laugh out of the comments made to Nvidia's PR team!
I found that 3dm 2001 using 4.1 was 600 points slower than the 3.10s
I was most impressed with the 3.10 drivers as I noticed things with the 3dm
demo that I never noticed before with other versions
like writings on billboards
I think I'll switch back if that is possible without a format
Finally... a driver revision, post 3.7, that works well for me. And it does
work well. In fact it has solved "most" (not all) of the idiosyncratic
issues I've had with the Catalyst drivers. Here's my system configuration
