I suddenly aquired a new "User" on my computer named ASP.NET after running
Ghost 9. Ghost said I had to install .net software before it would run. This
is buggering up my windows start as I now have to select my name as "User"
before Windows XP will finish loading. Can I delete this ASP.NET without
screwing anything else up? Is there another way to prevent this annoying
start up & shut down page in Windows? Please excuse this clumsy way of postin,
but for some reason Agent won't let me post, so i have use Power Post 2000.[/QUOTE]

Visit the Windows Update website and download the
critical update for .NET Framework to correct the issue.

ASP.NET is normally installed whenever you install the .NET Framework updates.
You will need this account for most .NET based software. Download, install
and run TweakUI for XP . Under "logon", remove the check mark from "ASP.NET"
and everything should be back to normal.
