ASMS error in Unattended Install from Network Drive

We've setup an unattended install for our new machines
that our coming in. It works on all of our hardware
EXCEPT our latest batch, the Gateway 4100s. It hangs
on "Flushing Files to Disk" and when we reboot it gives us
the "The file Asms on Windows XP Professional CD-ROM is
needed", even though we are not installing from CD, we're
installing from the network. If we examine the files that
have been copied to the HD, it has not copied the ASMS
folder down. Anyone run into this?

Hi

I'm not sure about an Unattended Install, but an ASMS error message could signify a 'bad burn' when installing from a CD.

Well, we just tried again with a new copy of Winxp from a
different CD and we get the same error message. Anyone
have any suggestions??

This error message can occur if you install from a
network and map a drive to the i386 folder itself. Try
mapping to the folder above and run the setup from there.
