arranging emails by account

Susan

In my previous Outlook I was able to arrange my emails by clicking VIEW,
ARRANGE BY, and then checking BY EMAIL ACCOUNT. This option doesn't appear
available with my new Windows Mail, so our two accounts receive mail as one.
Please advise on how I can separate them. Thank you.

Tools | Message Rules | Mail
Set up unique rules for each account so that mail for each of you will be
placed in the corresponding folder that you have created.

Right-click on any column header, select Columns, then add Account.
Clicking on the new Account column header will sort messages like you
want. However, you would have to resort the Inbox after every download.
A better long range solution is to either sort incoming emails with message
rules, or else upgrade to WLM which automatically puts incoming mail
into separate account folders:

Note that Outlook 2003 and 2007 are compatible with Vista and can continue
to be used.

Five possibilities:

1. Use different Windows Users

2. Make new folders and make a message rule like this:

Apply this rule after the message arrives
Where the message is from the mail.fjsmjs.com account
Move it to the fjsmjs folder
and Stop processing more rules

3. Use Windows Live Mail which has separate folders for each account:

4. Buy WMIDs http://www.oehelp.com/WMIDs/Default.aspx

5. Enable the Account column in the Inbox.
