Can't see emails for second account

I have set up my emails on Windows Mail. I have 2 email accounts set up.

First account is fine, can send and receive.

Second account can send emails but can't receive. When I hit the
send/receive key it tries to find second account emails but doesn't actually
display them. All the messages in the inbox are for the first account and
non showing from secondary account. There is no error message when I
send/receive so I think it is just a setting in windows mail that I am
missing somewhere.

Any help much appreciated.

If the other computer is accessing the same POP email account, then it's
probably deleting the messages on the server after downloading them. That's
the default POP method.
If you want to be able to access the same email on both computers,

In Windows Mail
Tools - Accounts - youraccount - Properties - Advanced
[x] Leave a copy of messages on server
[x] Remove from server after [xx] days

You only need to set one computer to remove after [xx] days.

SMTP (send) settings have no effect on the ability to receive.
The two operations (send & receive) are independent of each other.

You will have to ask your provider, TalkTalk.
Each mail provider has their own procedures for adding an
additional email account.

Hi,

I have the same problem. I have tried using the same server as another
account in my house is on but obviously I have put in a new email
address etc. I can send messages fine but I can't recieve them.

Is this something to do with my outgoing mail settings (SMTP)?

Thanks

If these are aliases for the same mailbox on the server, the first account
to check the server will retrieve all the mail addressed to either account.
