Arranging "All Programs" on Start Menu

I'm used to arranging the entries on the start menu in Windows 2000 using
alphabetical sort but I can't figure out how to do that on my new XP system.
After 6 months of loading software it's really a mess and I can't find
anything.
Can someone point me to the magic place or procedure?

Thanks!

Bring up the start panel and then All Programs. Place your cursor over one
of the entries (program or folder, doesn't matter). Right click, and towards
the bottom of the menu that pops up you will see "Sort By Name". Give it a
click and you are sorted alphabetically, first by folders then individual
programs.

Left-click on Programs (or All Programs), move the pointer anywhere
on the submenu that opens, right-click and select "Sort by Name".
This works on any sub-menu at any level below the top.(*)

You can also left-click and drag individual items to the place you
want them to be.

(*) It might work on the top level too, but I haven't tried it.

R-click in a menu or sub-menu; Sort by Name

Note that new items will add on at the end still
