ARP cache

After loading SP1 and latest upgrades for XP I get an
error when I try to repair a network connection -
"__repair operation failed: Flushing the ARP cache." I
have no idea which update caused this or how to fix it.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
I think it just means the ARP cache is empty, you can probably ignore it.
