ARP-Cache

Since two weeks my home-network is not working. I tried
several things like uninstall/reinstall the network card,
disable/enable TCP/IP but everytime when I run afterwards
the repair function for the LAN connection I get the error
message ARP-cache flushing did not work (in german "ARP-
CACHE wird geleert" hat fehlgeschlagen). Does anybody know
about this problem ?

Don't worry about the ARP cache it probably just means you haven't been able
to connect to anything. Are you getting a valid IP address?
