appointments reappear

an addendum to previous post:

3 users on my network, 1 on XP pro, 2 on 2000, have an issue where appointments reappear. Specifically, even if a reminder is "Dismissed" it will reappear at teh top of teh next hour.

Am I missing one of the many hidden switches/settings in Outlook 2000? Is there a service pack or patch that I need?

I often set "alarms" in my outlook. When they pop up, I have 2 options:
Dismiss or Snooze.

When I click on dismiss, the alarm goes away for the moment but is not
"dismissed -- it often reappears a short time later.

Have them try starting Outlook with the /CleanReminders switch.
