When scheduling a meeting with a person not all of the appointments appear.
Yet when the person's calendar is opened, all the appointments. The
permission is set to Default Reviewer.

versions of outlook involved? are the appointments marked private? do you
have a filtered view set?

I have the same problem for two users. This is in Outlook 2003 / Exchange
2003. No add-ons, all default settings.

More info:
I have deleted the user's .OST file and recreated it since they are both
laptop users that mostly work remote. In order for them to sync
calendar/inbox they have to connect to the business VPN and authenticate on
Outlook.

After recreating the .OST file I was able to see the user's appointments
within 30 minutes. The next day the problem returned and his appointments are
no longer appearing.

Update - well that didnt work. The issue has returned after a day or so. More
two more users are now reporting the same issue, all of these users are
remote and have to connect to the exchange server over VPN. When i attempt
scheduling meeeting with them as attendees their events do not appear,
however other attendees events are appearing.

ugh! help.
